does anyone know the montery version

The bass is completely wrong

I've seen bass tabs for this songs identical to these on a couple other sights, but if you actually play the song this way it sounds wrong. The only part that sounds right is the piece starting at the 7th bar that repeats throught the song. I will be getting a tab book with this song included in it and ill put the tabs up right away.
