The Eagles - On The Border Tab

Eagles
On the Border
1974

I guess you could call this a little disco-country
off the On the Border album. This is a pretty cool

Song with a great chorus, written by my three favorite

Eagles members. So I'm gonna jam on this, and I hope you guys do too.

GUITAR 1: Electric, plays distorted parts in intro and chorus,

plus half the verse riff.

GUITAR 2: Electric with a funky effect, plays the stuff behind

the verses and does the solo.

GUITAR 3: Rhythm electric playing chords during intro and chorus,

plus half of verse riff.

Here's the part behind the verse (GUITAR 2). I have no idea what

effect he has on there, but I think there's a little distortion

And maybe a little wah. Anywhere you see RIFF, GUITAR 1 and 3 play

The riff shown here.

Now, we get to the chorus. GUITAR 1 and 3

are going here, with GUITAR 1 playing the

Tab below, and GUITAR 3 playing the chords.

Right after this, they go into another verse

And chorus, then they go to the bridge.

During the second verse, the last part doesn't happen,

It goes right into the bridge.

Here's the bridge. A lot of what you hear

is bass, and I haven't notated that. GUITAR 1 and 3 play the bottome line (with divisi where indicated). GUITAR 2 plays the top. Never mind your name... + + + + + + + + + + + +

Now we go to the chorus, and then to the solo.

The two measures I have here repeat all the way till the end, it finally just fades out. Play around with this a little, cause of course Leadon does: E 1/2 1/2 + +. + + + + + +
