I believe Frampton solos in E Dorian. This is what I use. Frampton used the Dorian all
time to blend Jazz and Blues becasue that's his style, a mix of jazz and blues. You can
the E minor pentatonic scale too, it just have some of the notes in the Dorian scale
Frampton uses, but it works equally well.
