This is the title song to JPJ's great album Zooma. It is played on either an 8-
or 12-stringed bass, so there is a thick sound (use an octave pedal maybe...).
There are some pretty hard riffs to hear and transcribe, and for these I have
either tabbed an alternative or left a blank. I never play bass with a pick,
but this one is a fast one. JPJ must use a pick for this one to hit all of the
strings anyway. So, here you go.
Riff A
| G | |
| D 5 5 | 5 5 |
| A 7 5 7 7 5 7 5 7 5 7 7 5 7 | 7 5 7 7 5 7 5 7 5 7 7 5 |
| E 0 | 0 7 |
| G | |
| D 5 5 | 5 0 0 2 |
| A 7 5 7 7 5 7 5 7 5 7 7 5 7 | 7 5 7 7 5 7 0 2 0 2 |
| E 0 | 0 3 |
Riff B
| G | | Whole riff repeated 4 times |
| D * | 5 6 5 7 6 | but there is a long bass part |
| A 7 6 5 4 * | 7 6 5 4 5 7 | going off at the end of the |
| E | X3 | 4th time. Back in with A. |
Those are your riffs. Just use each one when appropriate, you'll hear the change.
Well have fun.
