Juz - Song #1 - Luminescence

I can’t remember exactly how I wrote this song but I was going through a bunch

Of midis and a couple riffs were gathering dust so I messed around and finished

it off. It was by no means an accident :P Note that the time signature is 5/4. Uhh, for those who don’t know what that is, it means 5 beats per bar instead of 4 (which is 4/4). It’s just what worked well with the song. I play second guitar because I just prefer it. If you don’t like first guitar,

Then play second. Basically, lyrics are sung during the verse and the two

Choruses ONLY. If you’ve written lyrics please let me read them.

ALWAYS LET ALL NOTES RING FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!! Single notes honestly sound like shit. REMINDER: email me if you want the midi that includes drums, bass, strings and additional guitars. This will help you understand the timing of the tune. No point trying if you don’t have the original version. PLEASE check my website under the Media section first. If the midi isn’t available then email me. Intro - Double Guitars

Clean Electric - Backup (Guitar 1) Clean Electric - Me (Guitar 2) This is where the song originated from. Pretty much the rest of the song was

Formed around this riff except the wierd ending.

Chorus #1 - Double Guitars

Clean Electric - Backup (Guitar 1) Clean Electric - Me (Guitar 2) The timing for this part is very strange because of the 5/4 but after some practice you’ll get used to it. For the strumming, basically play the full chords, what I have written is what I think sounds cool. Note the following: --- is a 1/4 note - is an 1/8 note 0:40 Play 2x

Chorus #2 - Double Guitars

Clean Electric - Backup (Guitar 1) Clean Electric - Me (Guitar 2) This part can be played differently, but for the proper effect, this timing should be used. Guitar 2 strums 1/4 notes while guitar 1 has a better sense of rhythm. 1:20

Solo - Double Guitars

Clean Electric - Backup (Guitar 1) Clean Electric - Me (Guitar 2)

I love the way this solo starts and the way it builds up. Guitar 1 is playing

The verse piece (guitar 1’s verse bit) 6x. It’s not meant to be insanely fast.

When there’s 1 space between notes, assume the note is an 1/8 note. Listen to the midi for referencing. Add vibrato on long notes and when moving long distances on the neck a little bit of sliding sounds cool.. --- Guitar 2 has a clean tone --- NOTE: Whenever there is a combination like 12h13p12, play it faster than usual (1/16 notes). 1:52.5
