NOTE: THAT FLASHY RIFF CAN BE PLAEYD BOTH WAYS. IF YOU LISTEN

HARD YOU CAN HERE BOTH HIGH AND LOW PARTS. HE BE USING AN OCTAVE PEDAL FOR THE SECOND WAY BUT I'VE NEVER USED ONE SO I COULDN'T TELL. BUT THERE IS ANOTHER WAY I THINK YOU CAN PLAY IT BY USING A WHAMMY PEDAL. I CAME ACROSS AN ARTICLE IN GUITAR WORLD(JUNE 96) WHERE TOM

MORELLO EXPLAINS HOW ON SONGS LIKE BULLS ON PARADE (THE MAIN RIFF)

HE GOT THE TWO OCTAVES. HE JUST SET THE PEDAL 2 OCTAVES UP WHILE THE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED ALL THE WAY FORWARD, WHICH MEANS EVERYTHING PLAYED IS TWO OCTAVES HIGHER. SO TRY THAT AND SEE HOW IT SOUNDS. Legend:
H* harmonic p=pull off h=hammer on /=slide bh=bend halfway ^=BEND
