This next variation in the 2nd verse sounds like a whammy pedal

set one octave up. Hit the power chord on the 10th fret and let it sustain, rock the pedal forward then back. If you dont have a whammy pedal, slide the chord up to the 22nd fret then back again, but only the first chord is struck.
