Capo 2nd fret

Standard (EADGBE)

Intro

The chords in the intro are strummed once, the E means to hold it for a second

measure. The verse is played the same way.

Verse 1

 He formed the waters

 He laid the earth's foundations

 Made every man

 And governs the nations

 Lovingly He made us

 The people of God

 What a great

Awesome Father

The last measure of the E chord above is the start of the first line of the

chorus. Play each chord in the chorus for one measure except for the E chord which

is played for two. The chorus is played with the same tempo as the intro and verse.

Chorus

 You are holy, holy God

 You are higher, higher Lord

 You are greater, greater God

 And we will worship You

(Starting with the A chord at the end of the chorus, play the chords the same as

intro except that the tempo is picked up so that you are now playing a strumming pattern)

Verse 2

(Continue into the verse with the more upbeat tempo)

 He loved His people

 And gave them victory

 Led their armies

 And they gave Him glory

 He gave them grace

 When they had none

 Gave them love

 When they had run

(Chorus)

The bridge is played with more intensity than the rest of the song, but is played

the exact same way as the chorus, just more words. The A and D are held for one

measure each and the E chord is held for two.

Bridge

 You came to this earth

And You died on a tree

 You were flogged and beaten

 All because of me

 You loved so much

 The creatures You made

That You died on a cross

 That we might be saved

Go straight into the chorus from the end of the bridge, but only play the first

three lines. Play those three lines three times, full tempo for the first two,

then single strum for each chord the third time. End with the following:

End

 And we will worship You

--- (Play same as intro except that the final A is played instead of holding the E chord)

Instead of playing that ending, you could play a small solo piece, but it is your

choice. Here is our solo piece to end the song. (The lyrics are at the bottom,
